Mycorrhizal fungi and soil humates have been supporting plants for 400-500million years. Only in the last 100 years has Horticulture and Agriculture begun to rely on high levels of artificial fertilisers that have to be constantly applied to soils. As a result many soils have depleted levels of organic matter (natural soil humus and humates).

The rootgrow™ product range is a family of products that are designed to stimulate the rhizosphere (root zone) of a plant and encourage the natural soil organisms to flourish and soil fertility to be increased by the use of natural humate fertilisers and mycorrhizal fungi. When fungal products are used in conjunction with rootgrow™ rootfood (‘rootgrow™ planting system’) gardeners are able to create a living bio-active soil environment in a matter of weeks that naturally could take years to develop.
